What Aux7 does
Aux7 matches volunteers to roles a charity posts, sends one offer at a time to the best-fit person, and moves the offer down a ranked list when someone passes or the window runs out. It does not employ volunteers, screen them, insure them, or take responsibility for what happens at a placement.
Accounts
Organisation accounts are approved by us one at a time. There is no self-signup. A coordinator invites volunteers with a single-use link, so nobody appears in your organisation without being asked.
You are responsible for what the people you invite do with their access, and for removing coordinators who leave.
Price and billing
$0.29 per active volunteer per month. A volunteer counts as active in a month if they received or answered an offer in it. Billing is handled outside the product for now, by invoice.
No minimum term. Tell us to stop and we stop at the end of the month you are in.
Availability
We aim for 99% availability during business hours in North American time zones, and best effort outside them. There is no on-call rota and we would rather say so than imply one. Planned maintenance is announced in the application 48 hours ahead.
The part that is genuinely time-critical is the invitation cascade. Its scheduled sweeps are written to catch up after a restart rather than silently skip the window they were down for.
Your data
Your organisation's data is yours. Ask and we will export it. Ask and we will delete it, subject to what we have to keep for our own accounts. What we do with volunteers' personal information is set out on the privacy page, and the restrictions described there are enforced in the database rather than only in the interface.
We do not sell anything to anyone, and there is no advertising or analytics third party with access to any of it.
Impact estimates
The impact shown on an offer card is an estimate, presented as a range and labelled as an estimate everywhere it appears. It is not a promise, and the impact story afterwards shows the estimate next to what actually happened, including when the actual number came in lower.
Ending it
Either side can end this at any time. We will give you 30 days' notice and an export unless you have done something that puts volunteers at risk, in which case we will act sooner and tell you why.
